This verse challenges us to turn 180 degreees and start planning for a good future. The Lord has new things for us. A new thing is fresh, challenging, and exciting. The Lord promises us to put us on a daily diet of challenges all to stimulate and build our faith. Spring forth means the same as to sprout. As a plant grows out of the ground, God's Word is a seed planted in the heart. Faith causes it to germinate and sprout.

We have believed God for a good future and He has done a new thing for us. We are standing on the threshhold of our future. Let's look to God and His Word, strengthening our faith as we meet the challenges ahead.
