(from vs 7-18)
1. The Lord is gracious (vs.8)
2. The Lord is merciful -- full forgiveness that we don't deserve
3. God is slow to anger -- He is not mad at me
4. God is great in loving kindness -- He is there for me ALL the time
5. He sustains all who fall (vs. 14)
6. He raises up those who are cast down/discouraged/ distressed (also Isaiah 61:3)
    There is always hope as long as God is in charge, and God is always in charge if we let Him.
7. The Lord is righteous in all His ways (vs. 17) -- loving toward all He has made
8. God is kind in all His deeds (Luke 11:11-13)
9. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him (vs. 18) -- call upon Him in truth
